Velez along with the staff went meatless for a day. It is important to think about one’s health and the environment. The benefits of going meatless at least once per week are to prevent heart disease, cut out potentially dangerous processed meats, save the planet, and eat more nutrients, minerals, and fiber.
Cutting out meat once a week will not only improve our health, but it will also leave additional pounds in our wallet. Meatless meals are built around beans, vegetables, and grains, which altogether are more affordable than animal protein products.
Worth mentioning is that giving up meat once a week is good for our planet. The water needs of animals are essentially more prominent than that for produce and grains. Roughly 1,850 gallons of water are needed to create one pound of meat though around 39 gallons of water are expected to deliver one pound of vegetables.
Us, at Velez Managed Services, are going to keep going meatless every Monday to take care of the planet and ourselves. We care about our environment as the environment is an important aspect of everyone’s life.
We were able to promote how to recycle and to try and push individuals to reprocess in Kosovo, and how to recycle. We divided our bins into paper, plastic, and aluminum. Hence, the environment plays an important role in healthy living and the existence of life on planet earth. Earth is a home for different living species, and we all are dependent on the environment for food, air, water, and other needs.
