International Womens Day – March 8, 2020 – #EachforEqual
#EachforEqual, is the theme for International Women’s Day 2020, accepting all the activities and events to challenge stereotypes, fight discrimination, and most importantly celebrate women’s accomplishments from the political to the social, at the same time calling for gender equality. Today’s theme is the most sophisticated proposal for accomplishing gender equality in the world. It is the 10th anniversary of the UN Women’s creation, and the UN Security Council resolutions 20th anniversary.
This day has been observed since the 1900s and is now identified each year on March 8 as a worldwide celebration collective day. This day connects governments, organizations, and donations. It is celebrated around the world with conferences, events, networking events, different performances and in some places with strikes known as International Feminist Strike.
IWD has been observed since the early 1900’s – a time of great expansion and turbulence in the industrialized world that saw booming population growth and the rise of radical ideologies.
As IWD proceeds to grow from strength to strength. This day is all about reflection, union, support, and encouragement that seems universal or widespread.
Thus, on International Women’s Day do what you honestly do by making a positive difference for all women globally.
