There are a variety of contracts available, depending on the department, such as full time, part time and apprenticeships. Occasionally there may be the option to work remotely, from home.
The recruitment process
Becoming a member of the Velez Team consists of many steps to ensure you receive the best treatment, and to ensure Velez follow GDPR practices. Each job specifications and requirements are different depending on the role, however there are certain characteristics that are preferred for you to bring to work, for example excitement for your role, determination, communication skills, etc.
The recruitment process for a job at Velez is almost the same for each person that applies, allowing it to be equal and fair. After sending in your application, the People Operations Team at Velez will make it anonymous before sending it to the manager of department, hiding aspects such as age, gender, race, religious beliefs, etc; limiting information given to ensure there is no prejudice on the applicant, and that all submissions are treated the same. The interviewer(s) will most likely see your face at the first stage of interviews, whether that is on a Zoom/ Teams call or in person. The hiring managers on the recruitment team are fully trained to follow the correct protocols to ensure your ease when applying.
When at interview stage, if it does progress to an in-person meeting at the office, there will be measures taken to ensure your safety from COVID- 19, such as wearing masks when entering and leaving the building, sanitising hands when entering and enforcing social distancing at all times.
